The Spiritus Multimedia Show at Clérigos Church is an absolutely fabulous, immersive experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Porto. The combination of light, music and visuals is beautifully done, transforming the space into something truly magical. It’s only about 30 minutes long, which honestly feels like a shame because it’s so captivating, you’ll wish it went on longer. That said, it’s excellent value for money and well worth fitting into your itinerary. Top tip: arrive early and sit towards the back for the best overall view of the projections, you’ll get the full impact of the show from there. A real highlight of our trip.

Enjoy entry to Porto's landmark Clérigos Church for a 30-minute light and sound show that stimulates your senses and offers a deep dive into Porto's history.

An immersive 360º multimedia show lasting 30 minutes, set inside Porto's most iconic Baroque church.

Getting started

Show your ticket at the entrance of Igreja e Torre dos Clérigos. Your voucher will be scanned for admission. Follow on-site directions to your viewing area before the show begins.

What to expect

Clérigos Church – Spiritus

Housed in the 18th-century Baroque Clérigos Church, Spiritus blends light, music, and poetry to animate this iconic Porto landmark. The installation, created by OCUBO and inspired by Álvaro de Campos, transforms sacred architecture into an immersive canvas.

Features:

360º show: 360º projections envelop the church'snave and vaults, turning its stunning architectural details into living visuals.

Immersive sound: An original soundscape syncs with the imagery to guide your focus and heighten the narrative arc.

What to bring

Carry a valid photo Id with the name matching your booking.

What's not allowed

Carrying food and drinks into the venue isn't permitted.

Be respectful of the site's religious significance and avoid wearing clothes that reveal your knees, shoulders, or those that are see-through.

Accessibility

This experience is suited for wheelchair users. However, it's not ideal for anyone suffering from epilepsy.
