Their book collection is amazing. We spent 2.5 hrs just browsing and were lucky enough to see the new Wei Wei exhibit (extra fee). Our Lello tickets included a visit to their foundation which we visited a few days later. Note that it is in a separate location. We would visit again next in Porto.

Amazing library with incredible design and architecture. It is crowded but also special. Don't miss the display library called the Manifesto Library sponsored by Dua Lipa and its library of banned books.

Was allowed to select a book for 15.95 Euro. Makes tge admissions price worth it. And, actually seeing the scene from the Harry Potter Movie! 👍🏾

La bibliothéque est magnifique et à la fin une personne nous a rappelé que nous avions le droit de choisir un livre a emporter. Dommage que nous l'avions pas su au moment d'être dans la bibliothèque. Beacoup de monde mais la bibliothéque est belle.

First of all, when I showed up at the bookstore I could not access my ticket. So I have to shout out to the chat that they were able to send me a PDF of my tickets so I was able to enter since my internet was not working. The bookstore is a dream, staff was patient and friendly, and when I left I felt like I was in a daze. I highly recommend if you are a bibliophile!

Amazing building interior with thousands of wonderful books. Great staff, all extremely polite and helpful, and speaking good English. Excellent ticketing system with entry controls highly organised.

Not really priority. You get in line like everybody else. Be early as there a a lot of people for each time slot. Worth the wait though.

Livraria Lello is one of the world’s most photographed bookstores. It is known for its neo-Gothic facade, stained glass skylight, and red staircase.
