The true is I didn't know it was free entry and I booked an entry but with the audioguide, that was the best thing I could do. I thought it was just another church, I didn't heard anything before. But at the time I just see it, it was marvelous. Thanks to the audioguide I could learn so much, as the Dome is composed by 700 figures, people, animals, also the devil and the 7 deadly sins, the 2 fresh paints with the diferent horses, the floors... Magic. Thanks a lot!! I wont upload a photo cause all the people need to go there and freak out!

Advance ticket booking to Florence Cathedral. No tickets were provided despite Headout taking my money. Numeorus exchanges with their support team when I was in the very long queue at the Cathedral which made the whole experience a stress. No voucher for entry with audio guide was ever provided. Now in dispute after I requested a refund. Very poor if a ticket service provider can't provide tickets! I would not use Headout again or reccommend them to anyone else either.

Für uns lief es ganz schlecht, denn der Treffpunkt von Headout (siehe Foto) und dem lokalen Anbieter sind verschieden. Man kann beide Treffpunkte auch nicht gleichzeitig sehen. Wir standen schon eine halbe Stunde vor Abfahrt am Treffpunkt, den wir von Headout bekommen haben. Als es dann Abfahrtszeit war, war keine telefonische Hilfe in der Schnelle möglich-KI fragte uns ab und als wir dann endlich einen Mitarbeiter am Telefon hatten, war der Bus weg! :-(((((

Wir haben uns dieses Ticket nur gekauft weil wir auf der offiziellen Website keine Tickets bekommen haben. Es war aber trotzdem ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Das Treffen vor Ort hat wunderbar geklappt und ging reibungslos. Wenn man keine offiziellen Tickets mehr bekommt ist das hier ein super alternative.

Tuve mis dudas porque no mandaron el boleto que compré por internet a mi correo. Pero lo entregaron puntualmente en el punto de encuentro. No había conseguido boleto para subir a la cúpula porque estaban agotados, pero en esta página aún habían entradas disponibles. Muy recomendable!

we hadden geen kaartjes voor de Duomo in Florance.Gelukkig is het met Headout toch nog net allemaal op tijd gelukt en hebben we van het bezoek en uitzicht genoten!

It was a very interesting tour for only 8euros. The Tour Guide Emmanuella was great. I got to pray and put a candle. The dome is amazing from inside.

What’s not allowed

Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the Complex. Please remember that there are no cloakrooms at the site.

Flash photography, tripods, filming equipment, food, and drinks are not permitted inside the Cathedral.

Pets (except service animals) are also prohibited.

Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to climb the Dome or the Bell Tower. Those between the age of 7-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Accessibility

An accessible entrance is located on the right side of the Cathedral for guests with motor disabilities. The dome climb is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with motor disabilities.

Additional Information

The ticket fee is only for the audio guide, since Cathedral entry is free.

The Cathedral is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday, 10:15am to 3:45pm. It remains closed on Sundays and during religious celebrations.

Entry is subject to a security check and dress code compliance (knees and shoulders must be covered. Sleeveless tops, short, and other revealing clothing are forbidden).

Download the audio guide to your phone before your visit. Mobile network access may be limited inside the Cathedral.

The complex’s staircases are narrow and steep, expect a physically demanding climb.
