The audio guide did not have a clear start point. Meaning you walk in open the guide and st Marks tour start here is not apparent. My opinion only sell guided tours with an actual guide. Felt abandonded when gide left us. Not good.

Easy o walk through and spend time seeing the palace, architectural Venetian gothic styles combined with architectural motifs from Byzantine empire. Can't imagine how busy it would be during the summer months.

Head directly to the Basilica entrance with your tickets. A valid ID is required for security checks at the entrance. Note that proper attire is mandatory; no shorts or tank tops are allowed.
