La visita di Roma è stata bella. Abbiamo acquiatato via internet i biglietti per il Palatino, Fori Imperiali e Anfiteatro Flavio con audioguida compresa. L'audioguida dell' Anfiteatro è di buona fattura, da migliorare quella del Palatino e dei Fori, direi: confusionaria.

Alessandro warmly welcomed us and explained the procedure with the entrance and also gave us some basic information and tips for the museum. Everything worked exactly like we were told beforehand. It was cool to pass by all the other tourists waiting in the queue.

And there was also the sense that there’s nowhere to rush to. Rome isn’t about a checklist of sights — it’s about knowing how to just sit in a piazza and watch the city flow by.

I absolutely love Rome! It was our first time visiting Italy and seeing the Colosseum was definitely on our list. It has been on my bucket list for 50 yrs. The Colosseum was spectacular which tonnes of history! I unfortunately didn't realize until we got back to our hotel that I pre-purchased the audio guide, which would have been helpful during the visit, so that we had a better understanding. Oh well, my bad. Seeing the Roman Forum was also amazing! So rich in culture and history! I was so privleged to have been a guest in the country, the city and the Colosseum! Thank you!!

We were so disappointed when the official 18€ Colosseum tickets sold out, but Headout saved our trip! Once inside, my mind was blown. The sheer size of the building is unimaginable for the era it was built—it 100% deserves to be a Wonder of the World. Honestly, it felt like walking straight into a Game of Thrones set. You see these massive, supernatural-looking buildings on TV and never believe they exist in real life. But this one actually does!

Facile pour réserver et facile pour entrer. L'avantage du ticket est que nous pouvions laisser un espace entre la visite du Colisée et celle du forum , très à appréciée pendant la canicule. Nous avons donc fait le Colisée le matin et sommes revenus en fin d'après midi pour le forum ( un peu moins de monde et 2 dégrées de moins

To see the colosseum as you turn a corner on a street is an absolutely unbelievable sight. To go in the colosseum is something I cannot describe. You need to be there to understand. When your standing inside it, it roots you to the spot. It's been a week since I visited and im still in awe.

Getting started

Arrive at the Colosseum at your selected time and breeze past the queues at on-site sales counter with reserved entry. Have your ID ready for verification, and pass through a quick security check before stepping inside.

What to expect

Colosseum

Walk into one of the most iconic landmarks of Ancient Rome, where gladiators once battled for glory.

Seating rows & Museum

Stand where spectators once cheered and visit the on-site museum on Level 2, showcasing artifacts from the Colosseum’s past.

Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Enjoy the flexibility to visit these historic sites within 24 hours, wandering through the ruins of temples, palaces, and ancient marketplaces.

Optional upgrades

What to bring

A valid photo ID is required for all participants and must match the name on the reservation.

Download your audio guide in advance on the Headout app and bring charged headphones if applicable.

What’s not allowed

Objects such as large bags, sharp items and loose electronics must be placed in the X-ray tray during security screening.

Additional information

If your access includes Mamertine Prison, your visit must begin there and you must arrive at least 1 hour before your Colosseum time slot to collect your entry ticket.

Timed access applies to the Colosseum only; Forum and Palatine Hill can be visited anytime within 24 hours but each entrance may be used only once.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

The security check can take 30 mins or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

Each site has different opening hours, so check in advance. Plan around 2–3 hours for the Colosseum, 1–1.5 hours each for Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, and 30–45 minutes for Mamertine Prison.
