Es muy cómoda para el transporte público. Hay que organizarse para poder amortizarla y fijarse en qué atracciones no están operativas. No es práctico la necesidad de canjearla para tenerla físicamente , ya que en mi caso implicó tener que hacer la primera cola cola para el canje. Y tampoco me evitó cola en los monumentos porque era tanta la gente que tenía la Lisboa card que aunque no tuviera que comprar la entrada, también se hacían colas para pasarla por los lectores automáticos . La volvería a comprar porque me supuso ahorro que era el principal objetivo.

This is a great offer to explore many attractions in and around Lisbon - if used properly. Unfortunately, I don't think I have planned wisely, but it is still great to have. Some useful tips: - Some attractions (e.g. monastery) has a separate line for Lisboa card holders, but are filtered into a single line with regular visitors. Still much faster, but don't expect instant entry. - Don't even try using the card at very crowded attractions, like the Pena Palace or at Quinta da Regaleira. You simply have to reserve a timeslot for the best experience.

Molto comoda per i trasporti, che sono impeccabili. Lisbona è ben servita da metro, autobus, tram e treni. Il costo viene ampiamente ripagato, soprattutto se la si sfrutta al meglio! Unica pecca: la lista dei musei inclusi nel foglio di spiegazioni, non è in ordine alfabetico, e per chi non conosce la città risulta un po' difficoltoso capire se il museo che si incontra lungo il percorso è compreso o meno.

Highlights were access & unexpected extras. We appreciated being fast tracked on a long queue at jeronimos monastery, the efficiency of public transport in the city & visiting places we wouldn't have thought of (eg carriage museum was surprisingly interesting!). Don't miss the resistance Museum for a different side to Portuguese history. I would suggest reading carefully what exactly the card entitles. I got caught that it doesn't cover public transport around Sintra (& that it only gives a 10% discount there - & you still have to book ahead for a times ticket!). Maybe I didn't read details enough - maybe it was not made clear enough. Also worth checking what places will be shut when you visit (included access to Belém tower was t helpful when it is shut for renovation). We got our value, but not in Sintra (which used a day of our 72 hours).

Excellent experience with Headout. Easy pick up and easy entrance at the Lisbon Oceanarium. The Oceanarium experience itself is amazing and the whole area around it. We used the card for the discount at the science museum as well. Skipping the line at Jerónimos monastery was also great, because there were quite a lot tourist groups. All in all - I recommend it.

Exploring made easier with public transport

Zip around Lisbon with unlimited access to free public transport and ride the Metro subway, hop on buses, and trams, and even take a ride on the enchanting lifts of Carris lines. You can also take the CP Train to the picturesque towns of Sintra, Cascais, and Azambuja.

Seamless activation

Exchange your digital voucher for a physical Lisboa card from any of the redemption points mentioned in your voucher.

To activate it, you need to write your name, the date, and the exact time of activation on the card.

Use the card for the first time either on public transport or at a participating museum or attraction.

Validity: Before activation, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.

Additional information

You can visit each attraction only once.

Bear in mind that national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).

All cards must be exchanged at the same redemption point.

Museums and national monuments are closed on Mondays.

Museums and monuments undergoing temporary renovation are clearly marked within the guidebook.

The Lisboa Card digital guide is an essential component of the product and must be downloaded by the cardholder to access all relevant information.

Entry to Jerónimos Monastery is subject to capacity limits and managed according to the monument’s operational guidelines.

Exchange your voucher for the magnetic Lisbon Card on the date selected during checkout, after which you will have one year to activate the card.

After you activate the card, it will remain valid for 24h, 48h or 72h, depending on the option chosen at the time of purchase.

Carry your Lisbon Card and display it at each attraction with a valid photo ID.
