This is an excellent tour especially as these sites are extremely popular. Although there was some queuing getting into the Basilica Cistern was very easy as was the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The guide ; Buse?, was very knowledgeable pointing out the best things to see and best photo opportunities. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this 3 hour tour.

Buse was a fantastic guide. Not only was she knowledgeable about the history of the locations, she was able to prepare us for how the tour part would go ("In the next room they will hurry you along, so look up to the left to see..."). The Basilica Cistern was an option on the tour that was definitely worth seeing.

I loved everything about this tour! The guide was very helpful and informative. We waited 20 minutes for Blue Mosque, 10 minutes for Hagia Sophia, and 5 minutes for the Basilica Cistern. I would happily do this tour again as I feel there is so much more to see than just the first pass through. 11/10

The whole tour was special, covering three of Istanbul's most incredible historical sights. Our guide, Ece, was great - friendly, knowledgeable and fun, with a gentle sense of humour. We learned a lot and had a great experience in world class historical venues.

In was convenient to see 3 major sites in one tour and skipping the line was great because there were long lines..Our guide was knowledgeable and I felt we had enough time in each location.

We had the combo guided tour with Alex. It was very easy to find the place and very well organised! We learnt so many things and we really enjoyed it! The group was small, and it was genuinely a very nice experience. I would definitely recommend it, Alex is funny, passionate about history, very knowledgeable and has a wonderful way to explain things. The tour lasted for 3 hours and we thought it was enough time to explore, nothing felt rushed and it was a very very lovely day. Thank you Alex!

La mezquita es muy bonita e interesante. El guía era amable, pero sus explicaciones eran tan genéricas como las de cualquier guía escrita o página web. La parte de presentación de la ciudad antigua y del hipódromo no la hizo. Teniendo en cuenta que la mezquita es gratuita, el consejo es claro: hay que visitar sí o sí la mezquita, pero se pueden ahorrar la visita guiada, que no es barata.

Visitar los tres lugares sin esperas de cola está muy bien, ya que se viaja con el tempo limitado. La audioguía se oía bastante mal y entender lo que comentaba la guía era dificultoso. Aún con entenderla, si no se estaba cerca de ella no se sabía qué aspecto o detalle estaba comentando en aquel momento.

What's not allowed

Hagia Sophia

The prayer area on the first floor can only be entered by Turkish citizens.

Strict dress code: Women should not wear knee-length shorts, skirts, or clothing with exposed shoulders or chests. Hair should be partially covered with a scarf. Men should not wear knee-length shorts or clothing with exposed shoulders.

This experience is wheelchair accessible.

Hagia Sophia

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Additional information

If you do not have a scarf or body cover, you can buy them at the entrance (a scarf is 1€ and a body cover is 3€).

You can choose to take the Bosphorus cruise on the same day or the next day. In addition to midday and afternoon departures, enjoy a special evening cruise at 6pm, available from April to October.

While you can breeze through the ticket lines, security screening is standard for all guests. Be prepared for wait times of up to 60 minutes during peak travel periods.

Hagia Sophia is under renovation, therefore, not all parts of the building are open to the public.

Due to the Friday prayer, the Mosque will be closed to tourists from 12pm to 2pm. For a smoother experience, it's recommended to visit after 4pm to avoid the lengthy security line anticipated between 2pm and 4pm.
