The Aquarium of Barcelona gets more fascinating the deeper you go in. In the beginning there was a small show for younger kids that got everyone super hooked and ready to enter the aquarium. When we entered there was a lot of sea animals. At first the don’t catch your attention but as you read the information about each fish given below it is so interesting to see how the work. There was a lot of unique, colorful and fun fish and more uncommon animals such as the seahorses and starfishes. There was a tunnel area where it was all glass around us and we could really see the animals fully in their more natural habitat. It also gave everyone a really good view of each animal to really get to see them better. My favorites were the seahorses, sting rays, sharks and eels. You cannot miss it! It was so amazing that even the young kids who were there had a fun time and didn’t cry once. Overall my favorites was the tunnel and there are two tunnels. After there is a feeding koi area.

Un accès très facile aux 2 maisons emblématiques de Gaudí, avec une petite réduction. Conseil : les visites tôt le matin sont moins fréquentées. Il y a beaucoup de monde, surtout dans certaines pièces plus étroites, mais les billets horodatés permettent de réguler le flux. Les audio-guides sont très intéressants et les maisons sont à visiter absolument. Mention spéciale pour le grenier et la terrasse de La Pedrera qui sont magnifiques !

Definitely worthy - at a convenient price per ticket we visited both houses and skipped a 50 person line! Our ticket included a tablet with guide and virtual reality, which was really helpful and interesting. Do not miss the immersive show when exiting Casa Batllo!

La Pedrera-Casa Milà

Unconventional as this attraction’s appearance may be, this building was constructed for residential purposes initially. Lavish in nature, with sprawling courtyards peppered with Gaudí’s signature embellishments, living in this area would be a dream come true. This site includes two areas- the Espai Gaudí, and the Pedrera Apartment. The former includes a broad showcase of Gaudí’s work, divided into sections dedicated to different projects, and shows his life in broad strokes. The latter is a fascinating recreation of the home of a bourgeois family in Barcelona from the first third of the 20th Century.

However, the true treasure of this building is the view from the rooftop decorated with distinctive corkscrew-style chimneys, which is synonymous with the building itself.
