The Aquarium of Barcelona gets more fascinating the deeper you go in. In the beginning there was a small show for younger kids that got everyone super hooked and ready to enter the aquarium. When we entered there was a lot of sea animals. At first the don’t catch your attention but as you read the information about each fish given below it is so interesting to see how the work. There was a lot of unique, colorful and fun fish and more uncommon animals such as the seahorses and starfishes. There was a tunnel area where it was all glass around us and we could really see the animals fully in their more natural habitat. It also gave everyone a really good view of each animal to really get to see them better. My favorites were the seahorses, sting rays, sharks and eels. You cannot miss it! It was so amazing that even the young kids who were there had a fun time and didn’t cry once. Overall my favorites was the tunnel and there are two tunnels. After there is a feeding koi area.

I really enjoyed the aquarium. We bought tickets online in advance, but the line at the box office was short. There were several rooms and lots of marine animals. You could even feed the fish in one of the rooms. We had a great time.

Securing our tickets online and having them on my phone made entry super quick and easy. This was very helpful, given the day was quite wet and windy, and the ticket booths were out in the elements.

Loved the aquarium, almost spent about 4-5 hours and my toddler loved every bit of it. Thanks for the last minute ticket.

What to bring

Carry a valid ID with the name matching that on your booking.

If you plan on spending an entire day, a pair of comfortable walking shoes is a must.

What's not allowed

Feeding the animals at any of the exhibits is strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed at the venue.

Consuming any food or drinks inside the aquarium is prohibited. You can dine at the cafeteria if needed.

You're not allowed to carry your coat, luggage, and personal items into the venue. You can store them in the lockers available for rent near the entrance.

Accessibility

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and suited to visitors with limited mobility.

Additional information

Your tickets allow you to stay for as long as you want on the day of your visit.

Children up to the age of 2 can enter the venue for free. However, minors (under 18) must always be under an adult's supervision.

In case of an accident or malfunction, the site will be evacuated, and you won't be entitled to a refund.

The last time slot is one and a half hours before the closure of the Aquarium; make sure you arrive on time to make the most of your visit.
