The experience was very unique, with lots of interesting facts, the Aquarium had so many fish species with beautiful coloring and backgrounds. My family and I were especially impressed by the quality of the water tanks, the diversity of fish and how spectacular seeing real big sharks was. A truly unforgettable experience!

Gostei bastante do valor e horário do aquário, em relação ao passeio de barco, infelizmente eu não pude chegar a tempo, escolhi mal o horário e a dificuldade de movimentação do trânsito em Barcelona prejudicaram essa experiência, poderiam flexibilizar o horário, mas ao final foi bastante satisfatório.

Все было прекрасно. Единственное, что немного создаёт суету, это большие школьные группы, которые не дают наслаждаться полностью атмосферой. Возможно, для групп было бы неплохо создать определённые часы.

Getting started

Head straight to L’Aquàrium de Barcelona at Port Vell — it’s easy to spot by the waterfront. Show your mobile ticket at the entrance and breeze past the ticket line. A quick scan, a short security check, and you’re in!

What to expect

Welcome to one of Europe’s most fascinating marine centers, home to the largest Mediterranean-themed aquarium in the world. It’s where 11,000 sea creatures from 450 species swim, glide, and dazzle in front of your eyes.

Oceanarium: Walk through Europe’s longest underwater tunnel, 80 metres of glass surrounded by sharks, rays, and sunfish gliding gracefully above and beside you.Wander through 80+ tanks recreating Mediterranean and tropical marine worlds, from coral reefs to kelp forests.

Aquarium: Explore over 80 tanks that recreate the beauty of Mediterranean and tropical ecosystems. Spot coral reefs, seahorses, and vibrant schools of fish as you move from zone to zone.

Planet Aqua: Discover how marine life adapts to extreme conditions. From icy penguins to ancient fossils, this zone reveals the incredible resilience of ocean species.

Explora!: A playground for young explorers. Kids can touch, play, and learn through hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity about the sea.

Anniversary upgrades: Celebrate 30 years of marine discovery with brand-new digital installations, including Europe’s largest interactive floor and Journey to the Depths, an immersive SubAqua Explorer adventure.

Aqua Protectors: Watch kids unleash their creativity as they design their own virtual fish and see them come to life on a massive digital ocean screen.

Operating hours are 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, and 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket offices and access close one hour before facility closure.
