Your trip to explore the natural wonders of Langkawi begins from Tanjung Rhu Jetty at 10:30 am. Over the next 3 hours, you will discover high-rising cliffs, come across an abundance of mangroves, and enjoy the diverse wildlife of this ecosystem. As your boat ride takes off, savour the spectacular view of mangroves framing the exquisite scenery of the Kilim River. Also, if you are in luck, you will get to watch a soar of eagles roaming the skies and swooping in dramatically to catch their prey. A popular stop on the boat ride is the floating fish farm. Here, you will learn about the enormous stingrays, groupers, horseshoe crabs, sea basses, archerfish, etc. You can even volunteer to feed the fish yourself.

Another highlight of this tour is the scary-sounding Crocodile Cave. It is, in reality, a tunnel that was naturally carved into the limestone cliff due to water erosion. During low tide, boats can enter from one end and exit on the other side. You will be able to spot a few stalactites and stalagmites along with a colony of bats roosting on the roof as you make your way through it. The cave is named so because it resembles an alligator’s mouth when looked at from a distance. Rest assured, there are no crocodiles to be found here. Lastly, commemorate your trip by snapping selfies at an unmissable spot - under the signboard that reads Kilim Geoforest Park.
