Getting started

Check in at the Paradise Jet Boating dock at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. Meet your professional skipper and crew before boarding your jet boat. Safety gear and life jackets are provided for all guests, with a pre-ride safety briefing available as part of selected options.

What to expect

Gold Coast Broadwater

Set off from Main Beach and cruise across the Broadwater, combining fast-paced maneuvers with views of the surrounding islands and waterways.

Hold on for high-speed spins and power slide maneuvers as your skipper takes you across the Broadwater.

Cruise past Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke Island, with chances to spot dolphins and seabirds along the way.

Your professional skipper and crew remain at the controls throughout the ride, with safety gear and life jackets provided for all guests.

Choose a 40, 50, 55 or 60-minute jet boat ride, depending on the option selected.

What to bring

Pack a towel and waterproof bag for your valuables, swimwear, a change of clothes (you may get wet during spins and slides), sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat (the Broadwater sun is strong).

Wear flat, secure footwear (sandals or sneakers are best; avoid loose flip-flops).

What's not allowed

Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for children aged under 4 years.

Guests are not allowed to take anything on board for two reasons: to ensure everyone can hold on at all times and to prevent any items from accidentally falling and causing injury.

No large bags or bulky gear; storage is limited.

Please don’t bring non-waterproof electronics unprotected (you will splash).

Guests must follow the skipper’s instructions at all times — life jackets are mandatory.

Accessibility

For guests in wheelchairs, assistance is available to help them onto the boat; however, they must be able to use their hands to hold on.

Those who are pregnant or have back, neck, heart conditions, or previous injuries are strongly advised not to ride the jet boat.

Guests are advised to be in good health and without any medical conditions that could be worsened by jetboating activities. If unsure, please consult a doctor.

Please be aware that this tour requires a minimum number of participants to proceed.

If it is raining, the ride will still operate. Real-time weather radars are closely monitored, and if there is any risk of dangerous weather, trips may be delayed or canceled.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow check-in, briefing, and gearing up.

Note: you’ll be seated in seating positions determined by the skipper (weight/balance is considered for safety).
