Wow, this extreme jet boat ride on Surfers Paradise did not disappoint! It was full of nonstop thrills. The staff on the boat was hilarious and fantastic at pumping up the atmosphere, everyone on board was laughing and screaming with joy. Being an international student from China, this trip let me experience genuine Aussie warmth. It’s easily one of the most fun activities I’ve done in Australia. Not only was the ride adrenaline-packed, we also got to take in the gorgeous Gold Coast coastal scenery. I’d love to come back again!

It was great. Ed explained everything, did the signals before spinning and made sure we were all good after. Ed also had great music playing during the ride. The only thing I can say i was a bit disappointed with was that it was only an hour haha, it definitely could have gone longer in my book. Loved it!!

Make your way to Jetboat Extreme HQ on Ferny Avenue in central Surfers Paradise. Check in for your selected experience and get ready for your jet boat ride. You’ll be provided with a comfortable life jacket that fits all shapes and sizes, along with 50+ sunscreen and a locker for your personal belongings. A spray jacket is also available if you prefer extra cover on cooler days.

What to expect

Surfers Paradise waterways

Set off on a 55-minute jet boat ride through the Gold Coast waterways, starting around Surfers Paradise and its network of canals.

Pass waterways lined with luxury mansions and yachts as you travel through the Surfers Paradise area.

Stay protected with your provided life jacket and 50+ sunscreen throughout the ride.

Use a secure locker to store your personal belongings while you're on the water.

Take a spray jacket if preferred, particularly on cooler days when you want extra protection from spray.

Broadwater and Moreton Bay Marine Park

Depending on your selected option, your route can extend beyond the Surfers Paradise waterways to the Broadwater and Moreton Bay Marine Park.

Choose the Broadwater and Moreton Bay Marine Park route as your selected jet boat option.

Spend your ride on the Gold Coast waterways while taking in the Broadwater and marine park areas.

The route you experience depends on the option selected when booking.

Seaway, Wave Break and Stradbroke Island

For the longer route option, continue through the Broadwater towards Seaway, Wave Break and Stradbroke Island.
