Absolutely amazing day out at London Zoo! 🦒 Well‑laid‑out, clean and peaceful, right in central London. The enclosures are spacious and natural‑looking, animals look healthy and active. Penguin Beach and Rainforest Life were my favourites. Keepers are friendly, passionate and full of interesting facts about wildlife and conservation. Highly recommend — great fun for all ages, worth every penny!

We had a lovely day at London Zoo , easy entry and we were greeted with a welcome and given helpful advice and directions once we were inside on which areas to visit first .

I purchased the London zoo tickets, through Headout. In which we went, was a little disappointed, as the Gorillas was sleeping, also the Lion's and Tigers. Went back later in the afternoon, the Gorillas was awake.

The kids loved it . A fantastic experience especially when we saw the giraffes, ostriches, and tigers. We also saw penguins and the kids have an experience in the VR centre.

The highlight should be the easy admission process once we have the QR code. Then there was the very clean and well maintained environment and general cool ambience of the zoo.

What to expect

London Zoo

London Zoo brings together diverse animal habitats, giving you the freedom to shape your visit. Move between enclosures at your own pace, stopping for scheduled talks, demonstrations, and free events listed on the day’s timetable.

Features

Land of the Lions: Wander through an Indian-style village where powerful Asiatic lions roam in a habitat inspired by their natural home in Gir Forest.

Tiger Territory: See Sumatran tigers in a dense, jungle-like habitat designed to reflect their natural environment.

Gorilla Kingdom: Meet a family of western lowland gorillas in a sprawling, jungle-like habitat that brings a taste of the wild to London.

Tiny Giants: Get up close to tiny leafcutter ants at work and vibrant poison dart frogs in a colourful indoor habitat.

What’s not allowed

Prohibited items: Food and beverages, glass bottles, smoking, drugs, alcohol, weapons, sharp metallic tools or objects, balloons, frisbees, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and drones are not permitted at the venue.

Pets: Pets are not permitted at the venue.

Unsupervised minors: Guests under 16 years of age must remain supervised throughout the visit.
