Discover the world of Japanese sake through an interactive tasting designed to help you find your favourite styles and confidently order them during your travels.
Getting started
Meet your certified Sake Sommelier in a private tasting room and settle into a relaxed small-group session. Whether you're new to sake or looking to deepen your appreciation, the experience is designed to be approachable and informative.
What to expect
Guided tasting with a certified expert: Taste seven carefully selected sake varieties as your Sake Sommelier explains their production methods, flavour profiles, and regional characteristics. Clear, engaging guidance helps you understand the differences between each style.
Discover your personal preferences: Rather than simply sampling sake, you'll learn to identify the flavour profiles that best match your palate, making future choices easier whether you're dining at a local izakaya or shopping for bottles.
Traditional food pairings: Complement each tasting with traditional otsumami snacks chosen to highlight and enhance the distinctive characteristics of each sake, providing a deeper appreciation of pairing techniques.
Practical skills for your Japan trip: Gain confidence in reading sake menus, understanding labels written in Japanese, and ordering drinks that match your preferences. You'll also receive a handy sake cheat sheet and tasting notes to reference after the session.
