Walking Tours in Paris

Très bon moment passé en famille. Accès facile. Le lieux est très bien entretenu et tout est bien expliqué. Je recommande même avec des enfants en bas âge tout est prévu.

Fue todo impresionante y magnífico. Muy bien servicio,artistas increíbles,coreografías y vestuario maravillosos. Merece la pena el precio que se paga. Totalmente justificado. El champán muy rico.

Foi um espetáculo digno de cabaré! Voltar muita variedade de apresentações, Guarda/roupa, dança, acrobacias e emoções! Vale a pena pelo ambiente também.

La verdad que la experiencia en la Torre Eiffel estuvo genial, a pesar de que el clima nos tocó bastante feo y gris. Lo mejor de todo fue que no tuvimos que esperar nada; no había cola e incluso entramos directo por la fila rápida reservada para guías, lo cual ahorra muchísimo tiempo y te hace sentir muy seguro con todo el protocolo de acceso. Un dato clave para otros viajeros es que, aunque te citan a una hora, la entrada real al monumento es recién unos 15 minutos después del horario de reunión inicial, así que no se desesperen. Sabemos que las entradas de cima por elevador son difíciles de conseguir a veces, pero por el sitio Headout se simplifica todo muchísimo. Recorrimos desde el primer y segundo piso hasta subir en ascensor al último nivel. Nuestra guía fue una genia: aunque el tour era oficialmente solo en inglés, fue súper simpática e hizo un esfuerzo bárbaro por hablarnos en español para que no nos perdiéramos nada. Pasamos un momento muy bueno y las vistas, aun con nubes, son totalmente imbatibles.

Our guided tour of the Eiffel Tower was outstanding. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history feel alive rather than scripted. We skipped the chaos, learned real context, and enjoyed incredible views. Easily one of the highlights of our Paris trip.

Our tour was very enjoyable. Our son is a tennis player, so it was his dream to see that place. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared many great details. It was a wonderful memory for us.

Ma visite au musée des Invalides a été une véritable plongée dans l’histoire. Dès l’arrivée, l’architecture impose le respect et le silence. Chaque salle raconte un morceau du passé militaire français. Les armures et uniformes impressionnent par leur précision et leur état. On imagine les soldats qui les ont portés, les batailles vécues. Les canons et objets d’époque témoignent de siècles de conflits. L’atmosphère est à la fois solennelle et captivante. On avance lentement, presque naturellement, pour tout observer. Les explications permettent de mieux comprendre les enjeux historiques. Certaines périodes marquent plus que d’autres par leur intensité. Le lieu invite à la réflexion sur la guerre et ses conséquences. La richesse des collections est impressionnante. Chaque détail semble chargé de mémoire. Le parcours est dense mais bien organisé. On ne voit pas le temps passer. Le calme contraste avec la violence des événements racontés. La visite devient presque introspective. Arriver au tombeau de Napoléon est un moment fort. Le lieu impose un profond respect. La grandeur du site frappe immédiatement. On ressent le poids de l’Histoire. La lumière et l’espace renforcent l’émotion. C’est un moment de pause et de contemplation. On ressort avec beaucoup d’images en tête. Et surtout, avec de nouvelles connaissances. La visite laisse une impression durable. Elle donne envie d’en apprendre davantage. Un lieu incontournable pour comprendre l’histoire de France.

I was in Paris for a week and had planned to just find the Emily in Paris locations myself and kind of do my own little tour, but when I saw this tour, and how reasonably priced it was, I decided to do it, and I'm so glad I did! Our guide was Natalia, and she is American, born in Italy, but living in Paris for I think she said 30 years, so she spoke perfect English. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about both the city of Paris, and Emily in Paris. The tour started near the Pantheon, and the first stop is just around the corner, which is Place de L'Estrapade, where both Emily's apartment is, as well as Gabriel's restaurant and the boulangerie where Emily gets her first pain au chocolat (at this point, each person on the tour was given a pain au chocolat of our own). Next, we walked to the Jardin du Luxembourg where Emily sometimes jogs. Unfortunately, it had snowed a bit this morning and it was quite cold, so the park wasn't open and we couldn't go in. From there, we walked to Cafe de Flore, where Emily meets the snooty guy (at the restaurant, they're sitting at separate tables and bond over trying to figure out if another couple is a romantic couple, or mother and son). The tour then proceeds up Rue Bonaparte to the Seine, across the river from The Louvre. Natalia pointed out to us where the recent jewel robbery happened and talked a little about that and The Louvre. We crossed the Pont des Arts bridge, waking through the buildings that make up The Louvre, arriving shortly at the Jardin du Palais Royal, stopping at the bench where Emily first meets Mindy and also the Colonnes de Buren/Les Deux Plateaux, where Mindy and Emily pose for pictures on the columns as part of her last hurrah when she was going to delete her Instagram account. I should point out that Natalia offers to take pictures of you at each of these spots and helps you recreate shots from the show. She has a binder with photos from the show at each location and shows them while talking about the locations. I chose to recreate a Mindy/Emily picture on the columns with a woman from Germany who I became friends with on the tour (we now follow each other on Instagram). The final stop on the tour is the offices of L'agence Grateau. As I mentioned, Natalia not only talks about the show, but along the way, she points out interesting Paris history. A cute "Paris by Emily" tote bag is included, as well as a polaroid picture in a little Emily in Paris frame. You can choose to have your polaroid taken at any of the tour stops. I had mine done on the bench in the Jardin du Palais Royal. This tour was so much fun and a great value for the cost. I also came away with 2 new friends, Tanya and Sarah, so I'm very satisfied with it. If you're going to Paris, I highly recommend taking this fun tour!
