The Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel tour through Headout was outstanding! Our tour guide was funny and had alot of historical knowledge and insight. The information was what I was expecting as he gave us the background on how the the church and Vatican came to be to this day. The craftsmanship and artisc beauty of the buildings, sculptures, rugs, and paintings can only be appreciated and awed in person.

The tour was great. The information provided by our guide was very informative and very in-depth. I must admit I lost the guide a few times and had to keep an eye out for two very tall people who were in our group as that was the only way I could find the group again. It was suggested to the guide that maybe he should carry something so we could find him and he said he felt that wasn't really necessary.

Onze gids wist heel veel te vertellen over het onstaan van het Vaticaan , de geschiedenis van de Sixtijnse Kapel en de St. Peter. Ze loodste ons behendig langs alle rijen . Soms praatte ze wat zacht maar later met the headphones ging dat beter . Het was heel druk , maar heel erg de moeite waard en indrukwekkend.

Nuestra guía del tour (Paola) fue encantadora, muy didáctica y amena. En cuanto a la visita en general, bien. Objeciones: En mi caso contraté la visita a Museos Vaticanos + Capilla Sixtina + Basílica de San Pedro. Al finalizar el tour tras bajar de la Capilla Sixtina no entiendo por qué hemos de hacer un nuevo pase de seguridad (cola) para entrar a la Basílica de San Pedro ya que justo en la salida de la Capilla Sixtina se puede evitar este control e ir directamente hacia la Basílica. Todo esto viene a cuento, porque nuestra guía finalizó el tour en la plaza de la Basílica de San Pedro y no en la propia Basílica. Teniendo por ello, que hacer la cola mencionada de seguridad para entrar a la Basílica. Y todo después de haber pasado los controles pertinentes para los museos Vaticanos y Capilla Sixtina al inicio de la visita. Por otra parte, hubo demasiada masificación de visitantes, en ciertos puntos de la visita, pero entiendo que esto no imputable del todo a la agencia, sino a la organización y control de acceso de personas al museo. Por otra parte, y aunque fue algo menor, teníamos la visita cerrada para las 11:45 y el día antes me la cambiaron para las 14:00. Al no tener compromisos en la tarde no tuve objeción en aceptar el cambio. Pero mi pregunta es: Si no hubiese podido realizar la visita a las 14:00. ¿que opciones me hubiesen dado?, ya que nos desplazamos por pocos días para disfrutar de Roma.
