E' stata davvero un'esperienza molto bella anche per il taglio che la nostra guida (Manuela Corsi) ha voluto dare alla visita, cioè l'evoluzione della pittura nel rinascimento. Le sue spiegazioni molto fruibili e comprensive di aspetti tecnici ed emotivi hanno fatto la differenza. Eravamo un piccolo gruppo (9 persone) ed anche se all'interno del museo c'era molta gente non abbiamo avuto difficoltà ad osservare anche da vicino le opere. Inoltre ha continuato la visita anche oltre l'orario dimostrando serietà e professionalità. Grazie Manuela

PAM our guide was extremely detailed and knowledgeable about the history of the Uffizi Gallery and each of the paintings she throughly discussed. Her English was excellent and understandable. Didn't rush us through the whole tour. She knew where to position the group to best see each of the paintings despite the sizable crowds in each of the galleries. Her patience made this one of the BEST tours on our extensive trip through Italy.

The guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and very personable. We were disappointed with the organization at the start of the tour. The people organizing the groups seemed not to be fully organized and had some issues with organizing people into the right size groups and numbers.

What's not allowed

Re-entry is not allowed once you leave the gallery.

Shutterbugs take note, flash photography and drones are prohibited in the gallery.

You cannot bring outside food or drinks into the gallery.

Leave your furry friends behind, the venue does not allow pets except for service animals with advance notice.

Additional information

Every first Sunday of the month, the museum follows normal opening hours and entry is free for everyone.

All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the museum entrance. The use of the cloakroom is free.

Please note that all visitors to the museum must go through the security check. At the busiest times, the line for the check takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
