We were lucky to see the Northern Lights at the camp. The people that run the camp were very friendly. They gave great explanations. We had a very good guide. Dinner was very good, with veggie options. The meeting with the dogs was wonderfull and to my surprise very relaxing. The dogs were very friendly and sweet. Nice campfire were we got a nice explanation about the Aurora. Overall a very good experience.

Getting started

Meet your guide at the designated meeting point, 15 minutes before departure. After a quick check-in, board your transfer for a 25–35 minute ride to the husky camp, where your guide will introduce the facilities and provide warm thermal overalls.

What to expect

This guided tour takes you to a secluded camp outside Tromsø, far from city lights, offering ideal conditions for viewing the aurora borealis. The camp is home to a lively pack of Alaskan huskies, where you can meet the dogs, learn about their training, and experience their friendly, energetic nature up close.
