Haben das Matterhorn mit der Gornergratbahn erkundet. Soweit alles gut gut funktioniert mit den Tickets, mit einer Kritik : Stellten sich mit dem zugesandten CR-Code Tickets in der Schlange an, jedoch mussten wir feststellen, das man vorher mit dem CR-Code Ticket das Einlassticket beim Ticketschalter lösen muss. Also nach langen Anstellen wieder retour zum Ticketschalter. Lösungsvorschlag : Vielleicht einen Hinweis beim Ticketkaufs das man erst ein richtes Ticket lösen muss, oder hab ich das überlesen.

Ce train qui part au milieu du village de Zermatt et vous emmène 1500 m plus haut en montant des rampes incroyables, dans des paysages magnifiques est une merveille. Le plus beau cadeau se trouve en haut dans un cirque de glaciers et de sommets à plus de 4000 m et le fameux Cervin, la montagne la plus impressionnante des Alpes. C'est grandiose !

We went early, queued before it opened & had the best views without the crowds - absolutely stunning! Wonderful seeing all the different peaks from up there along with climbers heading further up. I don't necessarily agree with the need to ski in August but some were being pulled up (& down!) by snow mobiles - spoilt the tranquility really. The ice caves were something else, wow! The sculptures were amazing! Worth every penny (even the 2chf to use the loo, which you get back if you buy anything even a coffee)

We booked a tour because we were afraid that it would be difficult to navigate on our own. The tour was cancelled, so we bought the cable car tickets online. How fortunate for us that the tour was cancelled! The cable car was so easy to use, and we saved a lot of money by booking ourselves. We were able to spend the day at our leisure, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend booking this on your trip to Zermatt.

Raggiungere i 3.454 metri del Jungfraujoch è una di quelle esperienze da fare almeno una volta nella vita. Già solo il viaggio per arrivarci, tra treni panoramici e l'avveniristica Eiger Express, regala scorci unici e maestosi sulle Alpi svizzere.

It is really a one pre more in the lifetime experience you should have. Being up on "top of Europe" is an insane nice and beautiful happening! I have dreamed og it couple of years, but first now was it possible. It is very expensive, but it is really worth it!! Standing up there in this rough, dramatic and beautiful icy world, is really fantastic. Go for it!

At first there were some issues, because the pass couldn't be added to the platform. Due to generous help, I was able to successfully add it and I could travel. And the journey is wonderful. I will definitely travel again to another country with trains.

Thus far the pass has been very useful not only for discounts on trains but also for Trams. I am in Switzerland for 10 days and hope to recover the cost and more during that time. The photo below is of the Lauterbrunnen valley taken from the tram going up to Murren, which was half off.
