Mann, Frau, deren Verhältnis zueinander, deren unterschiedliche Geschlechtlichkeit, durchzieht die gesamte Ausstellung bzw. das Lebenswerk von RENATE BERTLMANN, Performance - Künstlerin mit politischer Message, sympathische, mutige Frau. Schade, wenn nicht geradezu "unverzeihlich", dass ihr MESSERROSENFELD von 2019 im Österreich - Pavillion der BIENNALE ARTE DI VENEZIA weder ausgestellt war noch auch nur irgendeine Erwähnung gefunden hat, weder textlich noch bildlich. Nichts ! Das ist unerklärlich. Auch das Ticket - und Guide - Personal war völlig uninformiert in dieser Sache ? Wie, Wo, Was, Warum ?

Die Ausstellung alois mosbacher hat mir besonders gefallen. Auch die Räumlichkeiten. In der Gastronomie war leider keine Bedienung.

Head to Belvedere 21 in Vienna’s new urban district and present your ticket at the entrance for direct access. The museum building itself is an icon—originally Austria’s pavilion for Expo 1958 in Brussels, now a striking example of post-war modernist design.

Accessibility

A limited number of parking spaces are available during opening hours.

There is ground-level access through the main entrance. Automatic double swing door can be opened with a button.

All areas are accessible by elevator.

Barrier-free toilet facilities are available.

Assistance dogs can be brought along at all locations.

There is a parking lot for people with disabilities, access via Arsenalstrasse 1, 1030 Vienna.

A wheelchair is available from the cash desk in the foyer for visitors with disabilities.

Additional information

Seating is available in the foyer, in the cloakroom area and in the exhibition halls.

Please note that there is a winter closure for Sculpture Garden.

Suitcases and large bags are not allowed in the museum and cannot be left in the cloakroom.
