Le plus grand complexe thermal d'Europe, avec ses immenses piscines extérieures fumantes, ses nombreux bassins intérieurs de différentes températures, ses saunas et ses bains à remous. C'est l'image emblématique des thermes de Budapest. Au-delà de la détente, les eaux thermales de Budapest sont traditionnellement réputées pour soulager les douleurs articulaires, favoriser la récupération musculaire et offrir un véritable moment de relaxation. Une visite aux thermes de Budapest est bien plus qu'une séance de spa : c'est une immersion dans une tradition vieille de plusieurs siècles, où l'on passe d'un bassin chaud à un bassin froid, d'un sauna à un bain de vapeur, exceptionnel. C'est une expérience incontournable pour découvrir l'art de vivre hongrois. Foncez, de préférence le matin, c'est grandiose! Je vais y retourner, de plus c'est calme et très respectueux...

The Széchenyi Spa is an amazing spa full of hot pools and different types. 😊 I am a solo male 66yrsold global traveller and loved it and will go back when I am in Budapest again. I love when I experience a relaxing healing place like this to unwind after jet planes and airports to soothe my soul. 🙏 I spent most of the day there, and the price was really good for the experience. The environment has an ancient Roman feel about then. There were many people there but I never felt crowded . A must do if you come to Budapest. 😊 😊

Me parecio un luar fantastico, no estuve en sus piscinas exteriores excepto cuando ya me iba a marchar y puedo decir que son muy buenas y excelente para ir en familia. Realmente me cení a las piscinas interiores de agua termal y las saunas, todo fenomenal y la verdad que repitiria. Encuanto a las cabinas individuales para cambiarse y poder dejar la ropa me parecio prectico y muy seguro, realmente muy comodo. Que suerte tiene la gente de allí con poder ir a este lugar maravilloso.

I would like to say t Széchenyi Spa is really a must visit spot in budapest the best place to relax your mind your body and soul, from the cabin safetiness, to sauna's, steam sauna's and the bath salt. The staff are accomodating and very polite, the water is clean, WC's are also clean. Overall is one of the best to relax. Will recommend to my friends and relatives and i can say i will go back again amd again and again.

El balneario nos ha encantado. Es un lugar precioso y muy agradable. Es un lujo poder disfrutar de las aguas termales en un edificio histórico. Hay piscinas interiores y exteriores con agua a diferente temperatura. También pudimos comer allí. Hay taquillas donde puedes dejar tus cosas al cambiarte de ropa y también unas taquillas exteriores donde dejar tus pertenencias sin preocuparte por ellas.

Já na recepção pra pegar a pulseira fomos recebidas com sorriso. Passamos pela lojinha (lindaa) e um rapaz mostrou como localizar nossa cabine e nos indicou o lado correto. Foi a melhor coisa. Deixamos tudo lá:sapato, bolsa, roupa e fomos curtir a piscina!! Adorei o círculo central com correnteza! E os jatos que saem do chão?! Massagem maravilhosa. Amamos

I choose headout to buy my tickets to Budapest baths and everything went super. I've bought also a nice insurrance that they have, just on cause. Communication was perfect, I highly recomend headout for any purchase. Thank you for your very fine service.

Lovely experience with the Danube boat tour and the Szechenyi spa bath! Booking together was easy and discounted. The private cabin was great too because I had luggage and arrived there before my hotel check in time

Opened in 1913, Széchenyi Spa is Europe's largest thermal bath complex, famed for its Neo-baroque architecture and healing mineral waters sourced from natural hot springs.

Features

3 outdoor pools: Relax in the thermal pool, swim laps in the swimming pool, or enjoy the experience pool with jets and massaging water features.

15 indoor pools: Choose from pools of varying temperatures, designed to help with relaxation and wellness.

Sauna & steam rooms: Access multiple saunas and steam cabins to detox and enhance your wellness experience.

Locker or private cabin: Store your belongings securely in a locker or opt for a private changing cabin for additional comfort.

Want to save time and avoid entrance crowds during the rush hours? Opt for fast-track entry, available in morning or afternoon time slots, to skip the main queue and gain direct entry to the spa.

What to bring

Bring along your swimsuit, towel, slippers, and a swimming cap for the experience.

It is mandatory to wear slippers throughout the spa area. Swimming caps are required in swimming pools but not in thermal baths.

What's not allowed

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

This experience is restricted to guests under the age of 14 years.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair or pram/stroller accessible.

Additional Information

On Saturdays, the venue opens at 8:00 AM, so plan your arrival accordingly.

Due to scheduled maintenance, the swimming pool will be closed from April 20 to May 17, 2026.

Renovation work will take place at the entrance stairs from Állatkerti Street between May 4 and July 12, 2026.

The swimming pool side locker room area will be under renovation and converted into a coed locker room between July 29 and August 6, 2026.

The staircase sunbathing area will undergo renovation from August 31 to October 11, 2026.

The women’s thermal section will be closed for renovation from December 7, 2026, through November 2027.

The pools and surrounding areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing.

Last entry is permitted up to one hour before closing time.

If you select the fast-track entry ticket, make sure to enter the spa before 11am or after 3pm for guaranteed immediate entry.

Your ticket allows one-time entry only and cannot be reused for re-entry.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
