⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Took the family up to Genting recently and honestly had a pretty great time! The cool weather alone makes the drive up worth it just to get out of the heat down in the city for a bit. We spent basically our whole day walking around the outdoor theme park, SkyWorlds. My daughter was completely obsessed with the rides—especially the Blue Sky Carousel and the teacups in the Rio zone. We also got completely sucked into the carnival games they have set up. I ended up spending way too much time (and money!) trying to win her a giant stuffed animal at the duck pond and the ring toss, but seeing her light up made it totally worth it. To be fair, it does get crazy crowded on the weekends, a couple of the bigger rides were closed for maintenance, and you definitely pay premium tourist prices for lunch and snacks. But if you just want a fun family weekend out in the fresh air, it’s a really solid trip. We'll definitely be back!"

Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is a modern theme park with strong visuals, cool mountain weather, and well-designed themed zones that make the experience enjoyable even before the rides start. The park shines in atmosphere and cleanliness, with immersive areas that feel cinematic and well thought out. It’s a great escape from the city heat and works best for casual fun, families, and light thrill seekers. However, the experience heavily depends on timing. On peak days, long queues can limit how many rides you actually enjoy. Food prices are on the higher side, and some attractions may feel less “thrill-heavy” compared to bigger international parks. Overall, it’s a place where planning = enjoyment. Go early, avoid peak crowds, and it becomes a very satisfying day trip. Final verdict: 8/10 — more about experience and vibe than extreme rides.

The entry to the outdoor theme park was very easy & convinent just follow the signs & you will get the park easily, entry to the park was very quick. U can book the tkts in advance or u can do the booking on the spot & in season take express pass to avoid normal queue

Smooth purchase of tickets and smooth entry to activity. The tickets on our headout app were available offline as well to just show to the ticket checking counter and we were in.

Overall events are exiting,we covered almost all indoor and outdoor activities. My daughter was fully enjoyed,she travelled all the rides. It was fun and excellent trip.

It is massive and all the water rides are brilliant. We spent the whole day in the water park, experienced it during a storm which was once in a lifetime. We have three kids (7,11,14) and all were entertained the whole day. The massive dance party in the wave pool was something new too. Don't miss. The maps were a little confusing sometimes other than that it was awesome.

I have to pay extra upgrade my Aquaria tickets as it was a public holiday. I wasn't informed of this when I bought the tickets. Lined up for 30 minutes just to find out my tickets needed to be upgraded . Sunway lagoon tickets has no issues.
