Total experience ruined by poor audio guide. Tricky to download and use. Found this also at other Siena tourist locations. The venue was beautiful but I did not find out any of the details around art and history. And - this is so EASY to sort out. Look at other visitor venues.

I went to the Cathedral and it was breathtaking. The spaces; uncovered floors; the colors; the serenity; the atmosphere. I am thankful for my ticket. I stayed an hour and a half. I also went to the pinoqueteca national to see the Lorenzetti brothers and did not need a ticket. I strongly recommend that you add that to your itinerary list for Siena.

We got the combo ticket to visit the Duomo and the Palazzo. You could skip the line for the ticket office which was neat and the attractions speak for themselves. One of if not the most beautiful and ornate church I've ever visited.

What's not allowed

The Siena Cathedral follows a strict dress code because it's a religious site. Sleeveless tops, mini skirts, and shorts are not allowed.

Photography, videography, and the use of camera equipment is strictly prohibited inside Palazzo delle Papesse.

Accessibility

All attractions are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

The Siena Cathedral is accessible via a dedicated ramp on the building's left-hand side.

Keep in mind that the Museum, Crypt, and Baptistery inside the cathedral complex are not wheelchair accessible.
