Nos evitamos la fila para la entrada gracias a la reserva efectuada con Headout con anticipación. La catedral es una verdadera joya de la arquitectura medieval gótica toscana construida en 1179, llena de detalles y obras de arte, algunas de ellas realizadas años después por el propio Miguel Ángel como se descubre al recorrer su interior con el audio guía (muy útil y fácil de usar ). La biblioteca es otra sorpresa inesperada para hallar dentro de una catedral gótica. Realmente una visita maravillosa a esta joya de la arquitectura medieval. Merece la pena dedicarle 90 minutos en recorrerla y admirar su contenido. Una de las pocas catedrales donde hasta el piso está trabajado con escenas artísticas impresionantes. Se respira arte por todos lados. Una visita obligada si estás por Sienna.

The Siena Cathedral & Piccolomini Library w audio guide was an informative and efficient way to experience these grand, historic sites. The grandeur and artistry of cathedral and library were truly awe-inspiring; the tickets also included the crypt, baptistry and museum which added significantly to the experience.

Parfait du début à la fin ! L’achat en ligne sur la plateforme Headout s’est fait facilement et en toute sécurité. L’application est simple à utiliser et le téléchargement des billets ainsi que de l’audioguide s’est fait sans souci. Sur place, le lieu d’échange des billets était très bien indiqué, avec un accueil chaleureux et des explications claires. Le personnel a pris le temps de donner quelques conseils utiles pour la visite, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’accès à l’audioguide était fluide et enrichissant. E' comodo prenotare i biglietti on Line, ma non ti dà il salta fila (tipo al museo opera di Siena, che c'era una fila interminabile e non abbiamo potuto visitare) che secondo me, dovrebbe essere un privilegio per chi paga on Line. L'audioguida sarebbe meglio scaricarla prima di entrare nei luoghi, perché altrimenti non funziona. Comunque è stata un'esperienza bellissima.

Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment aren’t allowed inside the cathedral or library.

Accessibility

Some areas of the cathedral complex, like the Facciatone viewpoint and certain historic sections, may not be accessible to wheelchair users or visitors with limited mobility.

Redeem your voucher for an entry ticket at the official ticket office at Cripta del Duomo di Siena before entering.

The last entry to Siena Cathedral is 30 minutes before closing.

Opening times can vary due to liturgical activities. Please check the timings page for daily schedule.

Tickets are valid only on the booked date. The OPA SI PASS is valid for three consecutive days from purchase.

The Oratory of San Bernardino is open only from April to October.

The Duomo’s marble floor is visible only during certain periods of the year.

Children under 6 enter free but must be accompanied by an adult and still require a booked ticket.
