Stroll freely through the peaceful garden in traditional attire, and capture memorable moments in one of Tokyo’s most iconic spots.

What to bring

All guests must present a valid passport or government-issued photo ID at check-in.

What's not allowed

Strollers are not permitted inside the venue.

Infants must not sit on laps during the experience.

Restroom access is not available inside the building; please use the facilities outside before arrival.

Additional information

The entrance fee to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden must be purchased separately and is not included in your kimono rental.

Pregnant travelers are not recommended to participate in this experience.

Once you have chosen and worn your kimono, it cannot be changed.

From June 1 to September 30, a yukata (summer kimono) will be provided instead of a standard kimono.

On rainy days, traditional sandals may be unavailable and a Japanese umbrella will be provided instead.

Animals or pets are allowed.

Public transportation is available nearby.

Photography plans are not currently available as part of this experience.
