We had an amazing fast-track experience in Rome with Headout while visiting the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and the Pantheon. Everything was extremely well organized from start to finish, and having guides help us through the entrances made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We skipped the massive queues and got inside surprisingly fast, which gave us much more time to actually enjoy the places instead of waiting outside for hours. Inside the Vatican Museums, we explored incredible galleries filled with sculptures, paintings, and centuries of history before reaching the Sistine Chapel. Seeing Michelangelo’s famous ceiling in person was honestly breathtaking and completely different from seeing it in pictures. The atmosphere inside the chapel felt surreal and unforgettable. We also visited the Pantheon, which was another huge highlight of the day. The architecture, the enormous dome, and the history behind the building were genuinely impressive. Overall, the experience felt very premium, comfortable, and memorable, and the fast-track access with Headout made exploring these iconic places in Rome so much easier and more enjoyable.

El punto de encuentro es fácil de identificar, el personal al llegar es sumaramable y lo que más me gustó es que entramos rapidísimo a los museos del Vaticano. La experiencia fue excelente de principio a fin. Comprar las entradas para el Coliseo con ellos fue una de las mejores decisiones de nuestro viaje a Roma. Todo el proceso fue muy rápido, claro y organizado, y gracias a eso ahorramos muchísimo tiempo evitando las largas filas que había afuera. Las instrucciones para ingresar fueron fáciles de seguir y el servicio al cliente siempre estuvo disponible para ayudarnos cuando tuvimos dudas. Entrar al Coliseo sin estrés hizo que pudiéramos disfrutar mucho más la visita y aprovechar mejor el día. Además, la experiencia dentro del Coliseo fue increíble y totalmente inolvidable. Poder recorrer uno de los lugares más históricos e impresionantes del mundo sin complicaciones hizo toda la diferencia. Se nota que trabajan de manera profesional y que realmente se preocupan por hacer la experiencia cómoda para los turistas. Definitivamente los recomiendo muchísimo a cualquiera que visite Roma y quiera ahorrar tiempo, evitar problemas y disfrutar la experiencia al máximo. Sin duda volvería a comprar con ellos.

If you’re visiting Rome, this is one of those “just do it” experiences—and skip-the-line tickets make a noticeable difference, but with some caveats. First, the biggest advantage: you avoid the ticket purchase line, which can easily stretch 2–3 hours during peak season . Instead, you walk in at your scheduled time, which makes the whole experience smoother and less stressful. That said, the name is a bit misleading. You’re not skipping all lines. Everyone still goes through security, and depending on the day, that can still take time . So don’t expect VIP, zero-wait access. Inside, the experience is incredible. The Vatican Museums are massive, packed with world-class art, and the route naturally leads you to the Sistine Chapel, which absolutely lives up to the hype. Bottom line: Worth it—especially in busy seasons—but manage expectations. You’re paying to skip the worst line, not all of them. If you want the best experience, go early, book a timed entry, and consider a guided tour for context.

Our visit to the Vatican Museums two days ago was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Every hall, every masterpiece, every ceiling felt like stepping into another world filled with history, beauty, and wonder. Seeing the Sistine Chapel with our own eyes was an emotional and magical moment that we will remember forever. We are especially grateful to Headout for making this experience so smooth and enjoyable. We purchased our tickets in advance while still in Yerevan, and everything was perfectly organized. We arrived exactly on time and entered without waiting in the long lines, which allowed us to fully enjoy every moment without stress. Headout made it super easy to find and purchase tickets to see the sights while we were in Rome! After purchasing tickets through this company for the Pantheon and loving how easy it was, I also purchased tickets through them to see St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, and the Colosseum! All the tickets were emailed to me well in advance and I had no issues. The Vatican Museums were one of my very favorite attractions in Rome. What's not allowed

Vatican Museums

Photography and the use of mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Luggage and/or large bags are not allowed inside the venue. You may drop off your bags with the free cloakroom service.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, except for guide dogs.

It is recommended to cover tattoos and any other similarly visible distinctive personal signs.

Additional information

Most museums are generally closed on Mondays, except for Colosseum (booking required), Mercati di Traiano, Musei Capitolini, and Museo dell’Ara Pacis.

Almost all the museums are closed on 25 Dec, 1 Jan, and 1 May.

Please find your host at the meeting point specified on the voucher, who will assist you in the check-in process. Do not head to the entrance of the Vatican Museum directly.

Please note the chosen time must be respected and latecomers will not be accommodated.

Although it is not included in these tickets, access to St. Peter's Basilica is free. However, there could be a waiting line during peak season.

Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Please be dressed appropriately. Sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not permitted. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for all guests.

Roma Pass

The pass must be activated on the first journey on public transport even if it has already been activated at the first entrance to a museum.

At the national museums and archaeological sites (Colosseum included) on the first Sunday of the month, admission is free for all.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the each of the ticket redemption points.
