Wasnt sure about it initially. But it is the most convenient and money saving item for Metro use in Tokyo. No regrets. Highly recommended. Even if there are no machines to redeem the tickets, one may approach the Station Master to redeem it .. smoothly. Pleasantly surprised by the convenience.

It was an overall good experience. There is a learning curve for sure as multiple trains systems operate within the same train stations general area. We attempted to get on the JR train because we were following Google Maps and got the red X, JR is not a part of the Toyko trains systems (there are multiple train companies in tokyo) and our card didn't work on the JR trains. We went to the station office and they were very helpful to get us back on track to where we wanted to go. I couldn't trust my Google Maps step by step even though I have a international data plan because I would lose sign deep underground (some platforms were many stories underground). All the locals are moving quickly with a purpose so keep your eyes open for the signs to get you to your destination. We got the hang of it by the end of day two.

Changing the voucher for a physical ticket was very simple and subway pass was extremely useful as most times we were groping in the dark because this is our first visit to Japan and we made several wrong turns but because of the pass we didn't lose any money. So thank you Headout

È fondamentale prendere il pass per la Metro con le varie opzioni. Risulta più economico dei singoli ticket, soprattutto se si ha la necessità di prendere più Metro durante la giornata. Oltretutto i collegamenti sono efficientissimi e vai in ogni luogo da dovunque.

It was hard to understand what train lines we needed upon arrival and we thought this ticket would cover most metro lines as explained however it was very limited in what it covered. In the end we just got a pasmo card that we could use everywhere.
