We had a wonderful experience on our Pompeii tour! Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Our guide, Bruno, was extremely knowledgeable and showed us all the most interesting places. He was also funny and a great storyteller, which made the tour even more enjoyable. The driver was also very friendly, always smiling and making sure everyone was comfortable and safe throughout the trip. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this tour! ⭐️

Step into the story of two ancient Roman cities frozen in time, guided by a professional archaeologist who brings Pompeii and Herculaneum vividly to life.

Getting started

Meet your Askos Tours representative at the Porta Marina Inferiore entrance of Pompeii. Show your ticket, look for the Askos Tours sign, and join your archaeologist guide to begin your journey.

Pompeii

Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, once a thriving Roman city.

Visit landmarks like the Forum, Basilica, Stabian Baths, and the Thermopolium of Asellina.

Admire private residences such as the House of the Faun and stroll Via dell’Abbondanza to the Teatro Grande.

See the infamous Lupanare, one of Pompeii’s most curious and notorious sites.

Free time

Pause for lunch or a short break at your own expense before continuing to the second site.

Herculaneum

Discover this smaller but better-preserved Roman town, encased in volcanic mud.

Step inside the House of Neptune and Amphitrite, famed for its mosaics.

Visit the thermal baths, Sanctuary of the Augustali, and the terrace of Marcus Nonius Balbus.

Explore the House of the Skeleton for a rare glimpse into Roman domestic life.

Your guided tour concludes within the ruins of Herculaneum, leaving you free to continue exploring independently or return at your own pace.
