Located near the Vltava River in the heart of Prague, the museum offers visitors an insight into the history of slivovitz, which started all the way back in 1585. The fruit brandy is a point of pride in the Czech Republic as it is a popular drink of choice for many locals.
Learn about the important stages that the plum goes through from the interactive exhibition, which is aided by audio and visual presentations. You will be taken through the step-by-step process of slivovitz production starting from the orchard to the distillery and ending with the final bottling stage. Also, this tour will introduce you to the high-quality brand of Rudolf Jelínek, one of Czech’s premium brands for slivovitz.
