Went with my two kiddos (8 and 5) and honestly, LEGOLAND Billund is like a fever dream from my own childhood. The Pirate Splash Battle—my youngest got soaked, but kept yelling 'again!'. We spent AGES in Miniland just spotting all the little details. Crowds were pretty chill, prob cause it was a weekday and kinda chilly tbh. Staff were suuuper patient even when my son got stuck in the dragon ride seat (long story). Only regret? Not packing extra socks. Def bring spares if you’ve got splash-happy kids.

Family trip! Our girls were obsessed with the LEGO Friends area (we lost them in the Heartlake City cafe for ages). The park is SO clean, and staff were actually smiling, even at closing time. Got a bit crowded after lunch, but nothing crazy. We did the driving school twice—kids still talk about their 'license.' If you can, go on a weekday, it’s less packed.

Went solo (don’t judge haha). Always wanted to see the OG LEGOLAND. Miniland is honestly epic, like, the tiny airports and ships? Wild. Some rides were down for maintenance (bit meh) but I still spent like 5 hours wandering. Food is ok…pricy, but I guess that’s theme parks for you. Oh, and can’t take pics in the Ninjago ride, found out the hard way.

Brought my parents and two kids, everyone found something to enjoy (even my mom, who’s not into rides!). The Christmas lights were GORGEOUS, seriously, and not overdone. Santa was super sweet with my youngest and didn’t rush us. Only weird part—no cows at all? (My daughter kept asking, lol)

Honestly, I felt like a kid again. My wife and I did every ride we could—even the little train, zero shame. The haunted house was hilarious, wife screamed more than the kids around us. Miniland at night is seriously magical, lights everywhere. 10/10 would go again, especially for Christmas.

Opened in 1968, LEGOLAND® Billund is Denmark’s original LEGO® theme park, renowned for its creative attractions and miniature LEGO® models. The park features over 50 rides and thousands of LEGO® sculptures, making it a celebrated destination for families and LEGO® fans.

What to bring

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, which can be consumed at designated park tables and benches.

If visiting with toddlers, the Baby Care Center is available for your convenience (diapers, changing facilities, microwave, and feeding lounge).

What’s not allowed

Bikes and scooters are not allowed inside the park.

Please respect all height, build, and age restrictions for rides and attractions.

Accessibility

The park is wheelchair accessible, with accessible restrooms and facilities available throughout the premises.

Additional information

Rides in the park end one or two hours before park closure; please plan your visit accordingly.

Food and drinks are available for purchase at various outlets inside the park.

The Baby Care Center is available for all toddler needs, including diapers, changing facilities, microwave, and breastfeeding area.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically the busiest days; consider visiting on other days for a quieter experience.
