Alex was the absolute BEST!! She made the whole experience. Alex is so knowledgeable about all things Jameson and whiskey. She made the whole class interesting and it felt very personal. I am not sure how she remembered everyone's name. If you are on the fence, JUST BOOK THE CLASS!! You will not be disappointed!

I was never exactly destined for greatness in physics or chemistry, but thanks to the instructor’s enthusiasm, clear explanations, and generous supply of whiskey, I suddenly found myself fully committed to science! Learning how the different aromas, flavours, and components come together was genuinely fascinating, and creating my own blend was far more enjoyable than any experiment I attempted at school. The whole experience was fun, relaxed, and memorable & leaving with my own bottle was definitely the best result I’ve ever had from a practical class.

Arrive at Jameson Distillery Bow St. and check in near the main entrance. Your session begins in the Blending Room, where a Jameson Craft Ambassador welcomes you and introduces the class.

This hands-on workshop at the historic Bow St. distillery explores the art and science behind Jameson Black Barrel, a celebrated Irish whiskey known for its rich, smooth character. The class offers exclusive access to cask strength whiskies not available elsewhere.

Whiskey blending masterclass: Learn blending techniques and create two 50ml bottles of your own unique whiskey to take home.

Tutored tasting: Sample cask strength (60%+) whiskies that form the backbone of Jameson Black Barrel, guided by an expert.

Exclusive access: Taste whiskies reserved solely for this experience, unavailable outside the class.

Hosted by a Craft Ambassador: Benefit from the knowledge and stories of a Jameson expert throughout the 90-minute session.

What’s not allowed

Guests under the legal drinking age are not permitted to participate in this experience.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the venue.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

You cannot book the Bow St. Experience Tour on the same visit due to excessive alcohol consumption.

Strict dress code: Fancy dress or branded promotional clothing can result in denied entry.

Smoking is not allowed inside the distillery.
