Penang’s countryside town of Balik Pulau is a haven for nature lovers and thus, is a popular tourist attraction. Situated in the southwestern part of Penang, Balik Pulau literally translates to ‘back of the island’. Hop on a cycle and enjoy the early morning breeze as you weave through a labyrinth of roads with a professional guide. On the way, you will come across serene paddy fields stretching for miles on both sides.
