The creation of Pierre Fontaine, who also designed the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, this serene site echoes tales from the turbulent era of the French Revolution. You'll be transported back to the days when King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette met their tragic fate. Marvel at the two striking marble sculptures, one of an angel showing the sky to the king and the other, of Marie-Antoinette in prayer, each capturing the poignant moments of the ill-fated monarchs.
