Our tour guide Francesca was beyond incredible. Often, the tour guide can make or break the experience. Though both St. Mark's basilica and the Doge's palace were awe inspiring in their own right and were absolutely stunning, Francesca was so knowledgeable about both and her personable attitude and undeniable love for Venice and the subjects of the tour invited us in on her passion. It was a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience that I'm so glad we got to have!

The tour was good. Marina was knowledgeable and delivered so good info. She did have a bit of a strong Italian accent which was understandable as she was vanetian but it did make understanding her a little tricky at times. However the tour was good and we enjoyed it

Buena opción para visita exprés del Palacio Ducal y Basilica de San Marcos. Nuestra guía Marina dio muy buenas explicaciones. Como parte negativa el tour tenía que tener una duración de 3 horas y al final fueron 2 horas, además de llevarnos a una fábrica de cristal al finalizar, lo cual no aparece en ningún lado y considero que debería indicarse porque me dio la sensación que era una actividad para "gastar" (la típica actividad que endosan a los turistas). Además se indica que la entrada también es válida para el Museo Correr y en la entrada al museo nos pusieron inconvenientes, tras insistir finalmente nos dejaron entrar.

Photography at St. Marks Basilica is forbidden

Accessibility

Both venues are wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible, although the Secret Itineraries tour at the Doge's Palace is not suitable for wheelchair users

A ramp is available at the Porta del Fiori (Door of Flowers) entrance on the left-hand side of the basilica.

Additional information

All guests must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees to enter the basilica.

The Correr Museum, Biblioteca Maricana and Archeological Museum can be enteres within 6 months from the date of booking.
