Today’s visit to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill was one of those experiences that stays with you long after it ends. From the very first moments, I felt that I was standing in a truly extraordinary place—where history is not just something you read about in books, but something you can almost feel all around you. The Colosseum left me in awe with its scale and atmosphere. It is hard to believe that this magnificent structure was built nearly two thousand years ago and still inspires such admiration today. As I walked through the Roman Forum, I could easily imagine the daily lives of ancient Romans—their conversations, decisions, and the events that shaped the course of history. Palatine Hill, on the other hand, captivated me with its peaceful surroundings, beautiful greenery, and stunning views over the city. What I appreciated most was the opportunity to explore these remarkable sites at my own pace. Every corner revealed something fascinating, and every path led to a new discovery. This was far more than a typical tourist attraction; it felt like a journey through time that sparked my imagination and gave me a deeper appreciation of the ancient world. I left feeling inspired, with hundreds of photos and even more unforgettable memories. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rome, whether you are passionate about history or simply enjoy discovering extraordinary places. It was worth every minute and has become one of the highlights of my trip

Le Colisée est une merveille absolue qui coupe le souffle dès le premier regard. En franchissant ses portes, l'histoire fascinante de la Rome antique prend instantanément vie au milieu de ces pierres grandioses et chargées d'émotion. L'architecture colossale de cet amphithéâtre témoigne du génie exceptionnel des bâtisseurs romains de l'époque. Déambuler dans les couloirs où marchaient autrefois les gladiateurs procure un frisson unique et inoubliable. C'est une immersion totale et captivante dans le passé. Une visite incontournable et magique à faire absolument lors d'un séjour à Rome. On en prend plein les yeux et on repart avec des souvenirs mémorables gravés à jamais. Je recommande vivement cette expérience extraordinaire à tous les voyageurs.

Este passeio a pé em Veneza foi o ponto alto das minhas férias. Caminhamos pelas partes menos turísticas da cidade e fomos levados por becos da cidade - silenciosos e autênticos. Gostei especialmente da área ao redor do Campo Santa Margarita, que tem uma enorme população local que se dedica à sua vida diária. Nosso guia, Marco, era um grande conhecedor, com um tom de humor que nos manteve com ótima energia durante as duas horas de caminhada. Ele até nos mostrou pontos com gelato que não estão no radar turístico e devo dizer que eram muito mais saborosos do que os da Praça de São Marcos! Recomendo o uso de sapatos de caminhada porque há muito para caminhar e algumas subidas íngremes para percorrer.

Large backpacks and luggage are not allowed inside the venue.

A storage facility is not available at the venue. However, you can take a baby stroller into the Colosseum if it is necessary.

Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum

Names are mandatory for Colosseum bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID with you to gain entry.

Please note that timed priority entry is only available at the Colosseum, but the tickets for the Forum and Palatine will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time selected during booking.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

The security check can take 30 minutes or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phones) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

Going for the audio guide? Simply ensure that the guides are downloaded on the Headout app before your visit.
