Since,I'm new visitor to Kyoto , I couldn't locate where in Kyoto Station your buses were located. On the brochure is should indicated 'Bus Terminal'. Lack of Signage can be confusing. This bus tour gave me insight of Kyoto. I stayed on the bus for East line than continue on with West Line. Lack of coordination on went the bus will stop to get off. There should be signal of the next Stop. So folks can get Off.

The audio guide plays music for 90% of the time. Half of the commentary is about the do’s and dont’s while on the bus. Actual informative commentary is minimal. It was raining. And the windows on the top floor kept fogging up. The staff did little about it.

It was a convenient way to get to places in comfort. When we stopped and asked which way to walk, the bus attendant responded that he didn't speak English. It seems like an employee on a tour bus could point us in the direction to walk to get to the attraction. We were also disappointed in the audio tracks. They would start to tell a story about a location, then cut out at the end. We never heard the ends! Many of the audio tracks didn't line up with the locations either. I've ridden on buses like these in other cities, this was the worst one.
