Checking in was smooth. Reached way too early for the show since we were seated 30mins before the performance. Coats & bags have to be deposited in a cloakroom which is paid as per piece. Brahms Hall was amazing and the performance was just breathtaking. Great acoustics and the artists literally took our breath away. We got the balcony seats and although there were two pillars that may obstruct the view, the audio just makes up for it since you would probably be mesmerised and enjoy it with your eyes closed.

The performance was amazing with 8 violins, 3 violas, 2 cellos, a bass and a harpsichord. In the first half there was also bassoons, oboes and French horns.

My wife felt this was the finest performance of the Vivaldi work that she has ever heard. It was dynamic and very responsive to the demands of score.

Die Akkustik im Brahmsaal ist perfekt für ein Streichorchester. Obwohl die vier Jahreszeiten ein "Klassischlager" sind, hat man bei dem Orchester viel Spielfreude angesehen. Es war ein Genuss. Schade fand ich, dass immer wieder, durch das Publikum verursachte Störgeräusche ,wie z B. umfallende Gegenstände, hörbar waren. Das Publikum klatschte nach jedem Satz was der Wirkung der Musik aus meiner Sicht nicht guttut. Da nicht jeder ein Programm kauft, wäre ein Hinweis evtl. hilfreich. Ich fände die Atmosphäre noch schöner, wenn der Saal während des Konzertes etwas abgedunkelt würde. Insgesamt aber ein sehr schönes Erlebnis.
