Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway transforms Baz Luhrmann’s Oscar-winning 2001 film into a lavish stage spectacle of music and mad love.

Winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, this jukebox masterpiece features hundreds of chart-toppers from Lady Gaga, Adele, Elton John, and more.

Directed by visionary Alex Timbers (Beetlejuice), with choreography by Sonya Tayeh and costumes by Tony winner Catherine Zuber, this Moulin Rouge! on Broadway is artistry on overdrive.

Expect chart-topping numbers like Come What May, Lady Marmalade, and Your Song in a visual spectacle that’s part concert, part cabaret.

Playing at the Al Hirschfeld theatre since 2019, this musical is a celebration of timeless love and the magic of the stage. Book your tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway!

The story

At the turn of the 20th century in Montmartre, Paris, Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway follows Christian, a young writer who falls for Satine, the dazzling star of the Moulin Rouge nightclub. But her fate is entwined with a wealthy Duke who promises security for the club and her future. As passion and power collide under the red windmill, love fights to survive amid jealousy, sacrifice, and song.
