What to expect

Real-world spy mission in York city

This experience turns York city into your game board, combining an outdoor escape room and treasure hunt with a spy-themed storyline.

Features

• You follow a game route through York city, using WhatsApp messages to guide you from point to point while you stay alert to clues hidden in the real world around you.
• Along the way, you tackle cryptic puzzles, evidence inspection tasks, and tense bomb-defusing challenges that require observation, logic, and teamwork to crack.
• Navigation via WhatsApp keeps everything in one familiar place, with no app download or specialist equipment needed to receive instructions and submit your answers.
• The gameplay is fully host-free, so real-world interactions and treasure-hunt-style exploration drive the experience rather than a live facilitator.
• Your booking includes an outdoor escape room and treasure hunt format with entry or admission fee covered, plus midweek or weekend game date selection depending on which spy mission ticket you choose.
