Hurrem Sultan Hammam

The premiere spot to treat yourself in a one-of-a-kind manner befitting a king, prince or sultan! From being greeted outside the door to our sincere thank you's to our handlers and all the staff as we left, this was a forever memory. We were joking as to how we would have loved to capture the absolute grandour of the interior, but our camera phones would have never survived the amount of water in this place! Incredible sensory experience!

I had the most incredible experience at Sultan Hurrem Hammam! From the moment we walked in, we were treated with such kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere was calm, luxurious, and beautifully traditional — it truly felt like stepping back in time to the Ottoman era. The treatments were deeply relaxing and left my skin feeling soft and rejuvenated. The staff made us feel so comfortable, and the whole space was immaculately clean and serene. After the hammam, we enjoyed delicious Turkish tea and sweets in the cozy lounge area, which was the perfect way to end the experience. This is more than just a spa — it’s a cultural journey and a moment of peace. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul and looking to unwind in the most authentic way!

We visited the Hamam with my daughter and it was our first hamam visit. The ladies who served us, Oezlem and Buket, were so sweet and caring and made us feel comfortable from the first moment. The interior of the building is amazing, one feels they travel back in time in a magical era and still all modern hugiene rules are applies and we felt everything was super clean and safe. We will definately visit again given the chance!

The best experience ever! As much as I loved Istanbul it was HSH that sealed the experience. I was there with my mom and God almighty did we enjoy being at HSH. Two wonderful ladies (mine was Mahire and Dilek took care of my mother) made a fantastic and relaxing bubble massage, also guiding us through the building, doing all the scrubbing, washing etc. At some point, I was so relaxed I gave up control completely and felt just like on cloud 9 :D After all the procedures Mahire and Dilek left us all relaxed and peaceful with some beverage and sweets to have a quiet chatter in the hall. From the practical point of view, I`d say HSH is not cheap yet is worth every penny. Also, they have all the goods ready for visitors, you literally need not bring anything with you. Towels, hair brushes, underwear, hair ties, slippers etc are provided, so it comes in handy if you are a tourist and do not want to bring a whole backpack stuffed with hammam thingies.

Absolutely magnificent! A truly luxurious experience in an unforgettable historic location. Just seeing the elegance of the architecture would justify a visit. But enjoying the benefits of the Turkish bath treatment which has been carried on through history is such a privilege. I was so tenderly looked after by our therapist, Zelish. I felt fantastic afterwards, with clean supple skin, relieved muscles, and a calmed mind. A rare moment of bliss. Thank you.

My therapist was Serkan. It was an amazing, one of a kind experience and if you come to Instanbul you have to experience this Hamam.
