Die Tour war gut organisiert. Wenn man den vorab erhaltenen Instruktionen des Veranstalters folgt, d.h. zur angegebenen Zeit erscheint, klappt alles hervorragend. Wegbeschreibung ist sehr präzise, man kann es nicht verfehlen. Das Parlament in Budapest ist sehr prächtig, und ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Während der geführten Tour mit dem Audioguide lernt man darüber hinaus auch einiges über die Geschichte Ungarns und über die des Gebäudes sowieso. Wir empfehlen diese Tour gerne weiter.

Esperienza positiva al Parlamento di Budapest! Ho prenotato tramite Headout la visita al Parlamento di Budapest ed è andato tutto bene. Il processo di ritiro dei biglietti è stato semplice e senza intoppi, e l'ingresso alla struttura è stato rapido e ben organizzato dalle due guide che ci hanno seguito fino all ingresso. We were waiting 20 minutes before as requested but were not given our tickets until after 9:30. It was a bit confusing as to who the guide was. Once we got the ticket we waited in line to go through security screening. The audio guide was great and easy to listen to. The stairs up kept giving us WOW moments with the intricate ornate decorations. The information about the parliament and the rulers was great. We really enjoyed the tour.

Ottima esperienza per l'ingresso al Parlamento Ungherese, grazie a due addetti molto cordiali e soprattutto puntualissimi. Indicazioni chiare e addetti facilmente riconoscibili all'ingresso. La visita al Parlamento, poi, è veramente imprescindibile in un viaggio a Budapest. Super consigliato!

Von den Prachtvollen Gängen zu den Mamorsäulen in Gang ist das Budapester Parlament wahrlich eines der schönsten Gebäude auch von innen die ich kenne. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Eintrittshalle mit ihren riesigen Deckenbildern und ihrer grandiosen Komposition! Auf jeden Fall den Besuch wert!

La visita al Parlamento di Budapest è andata benissimo. I due incaricati sono arrivati in perfetto orario per raccogliere i documenti e poi distribuire i biglietti. Cortesia, competenza e disponibilità. Esperienza assolutamente consigliata. Il Parlamento poi è assolutamente imperdibile!

Bella e affascinante la crociera. Imbarcazione ampia e confortevole, con bar interno e guida molto competente e simpatica. Purtroppo, a causa di un blackout il Parlamento non era illuminato come al solito, ma è stata comunque una esperienza bellissima.

Headout made it simple and easy to purchase Hungarian Parliment tickets. The Headout representatives, LIAH & AKOS, were very easy to identify and were very helpful and clear in the information they provided. Headout did an excellent job of communicating all of the information that we needed in order to have a successful and enjoyable tour of the Hungarian Parliment. I would have given Headout 5 stars, except that they are a third party reseller, and mark up ticket prices considerably from what you would pay buying directly . We tried to buy our tickets directly a month prior to our planned trip, but they were sold out due to third party vendors buying blocks of tickets.

We visited the hungarian parlement with headout. The only function of headout is to provide you the tickets because at the parlement itself they are mostly sold out months in advance. The guides from headout (and also all guides from other organisations) are not allowed to come in the parlement. Every half our the parlement itself guides a group of exactly 50 people through the building. This works very well. So the only use of headout is to sell you tickets for three times the normal price, no more, no less.

Getting Started at St. Stephen’s Basilica

Meet your guide at the entrance of St. Stephen’s Basilica. After a quick check-in, your guided tour begins with a brief introduction to the building’s significance and layout. Skip-the-line access allows you to bypass long queues and head straight into the basilica.

What to Expect

Led by an expert English or Italian-speaking guide, you’ll explore the basilica’s grand interiors, from the richly decorated chapels to the treasury and the panoramic terrace (as per option selected). A highlight is the revered relic of St. Stephen’s mummified right hand, housed in a side chapel. Here what you will see:

Panoramic Terrace: Offers sweeping views over Budapest from the top of the dome.

Mummified Right Hand of St. Stephen: A sacred relic of Hungary’s first king.

Historical Exhibition and Treasury: Displays religious artifacts and royal treasures.

Getting Started at the Hungarian Parliament

Arrive at the Parliament Building at your selected entry time. After a brief security check, collect your audio guide and headphones before beginning the self-paced tour.

What to Expect

With audio commentary available in 23 languages, explore key areas like the Main Staircase, Dome Hall, and Chamber of Peers. Learn about Hungary’s political history while admiring the building’s neo-Gothic architecture and the Hungarian Holy Crown. Here is what you see:

Dome Hall: Home to the Hungarian Holy Crown, a national symbol of sovereignty.

Grand Stairway & Main Staircase: Adorned with frescoes, sculptures, and gold detailing.

Chamber of Peers: Once used by the Upper House, now open to visitors.

St Stephen's Basilica

Wear appropriate attire for a church - no sleeveless tops, short skirts, or shorts; men must uncover their heads.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the church.

This experience is not suitable for wheelchair users due to accessibility limitations.

On Saturdays, the church may close temporarily for 30 to 60 minutes due to wedding ceremonies.

If the church area is closed for a special ceremony, you can start your visit with the terrace and treasury, then return to the church once it reopens.

You can take one of the two elevators to reach the terrace or climb 160 steps if the elevator has long queues.

Hungarian Parliament

The audio guide is available in English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Polish, Slovak, Croatian, Hebrew, Romanian, Serbian, Ukrainian Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Slovenian, Czech, Chinese, Japanese, Bulgarian, Turkish, Hungarian.

It is recommended to be appropriately dressed during this tour.

The guided route is subject to change based on the Hungarian National Assembly schedule or other state events.

Large bags, packages, or objects capable of causing personal injury, such as pocket knives, knives, gas spray, etc. are not permitted inside.

Photography is allowed during the tour except in the Dome Hall.

This tour is wheelchair accessible.

Apart from guide dogs, no other animals are permitted inside the building.
