We really enjoyed our river cruise. Staff very friendly, helpful and very informative. Glad we chose this trip as boats seemed much more authentic than many we'd seen during our time in Gdansk. Limited number of passengers and uninterrupted views too. Would highly recommend.

All the sights accessible from the river were shown, we heard a lot of interesting things from the tour guide. On the way back, we could get off the boat near the old town. I recommend this boat trip, it was very enjoyable.

Our tour was run by friendly and fun guys. It was interesting to hear stories about the surroundings. It wasn't too much information, but I liked that it had the spice of a nice humour. The boat was comfortable, safe and clean. Very nice experience. Highly recommend!

Plavba byla líbivá a dobrodružná, při podjizdeni mostu, bylo zde dostatek chvíl na pořízení pěkných záběru místního okolí, výklad od průvodce se mi líbil , byl srozumitelný a zábavný, užil jsem si plavbu, doporučuji.

Booked online, a great way to see the historic cranes, an entertaing and knowledgeable guide, the sun shined for us, a good way to spend an hour enjoying Gdansk and a cool location for a drink on our return.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and informative, we enjoyed our tour. We learned about the grainery island and the commodities that were traded there before the war and how the warehouses have been brought back to life to serve a new purpose but same look. We were sad to find out that most of the accommodations were very seasonal and the district was very quiet during the off season.

Wonderful perspective on Gdansk from the water, humorous guide and information on the city, small group on the boat. We highly recommend this cruise.

What to bring

Dress appropriately for the weather, as the boat is open-decked.

Bring any food, drinks, or snacks you wish to enjoy on board—these can be purchased at the Yard Cafe at the Gdansk Galar Marina and brought with you.

Bring a valid photo ID if requested at boarding.

What’s not allowed

Individuals under the significant influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to board.

Smoking and intoxicants are strictly prohibited on board.

Alcohol may only be consumed with the helmsman's permission.

Large items that impede navigation are not allowed on the boat.

Galar Gdansk is not responsible for valuables lost, left, or stolen during the cruise.

Accessibility

The cruise is wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for all ages and abilities.

Additional information

Maximum 12 people per boat; boarding must be calm and follow crew instructions.

Children and youth under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian and wear life jackets at all times.

Pets are allowed at no extra charge; dogs must wear a muzzle and be controlled at all times.

The route and stops may change due to weather or safety conditions.
