Ravenna was not on my original itinerary, but a friend said that I must go there. I was not so interested in mosaics...but wow, it blew my socks off! I am a solo traveller of a certain age, not clever with IT , but booking to see 5 churches was easy enough. Luckily I printed off the ticket before I travelled as when I got there I had forgotten the tickets were on a different site on my phone under Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi. How was I supposed to remember that a few weeks after booking? One QR code looks to me like any other....But my experience was otherwise seamless and I didn't need to use the phone for directions. I did call the Headout Milan office to check a few days before I went to check if there was a specific order in which I had to see them and how long I could spend at each site...the reassurance was prompt and very reassuringly helpful. So if you are thinking, why bother? .....think again. Bellissima!! Un giorno indimenticabile!

La visita fue muy cómoda con el pase , así no teníamos que sacar entradas en cada sitio. Los mosaicos de los cinco lugares son espectaculares , en especial me encantó la Basílica de San Vitale y el Battisterio Neoniano .

It would be great if we knew that we had to go to the ticket office before getting in line. Other than that it was smooth sailing. We really enjoyed the sights and could walk to all of them.

Prima optie om vantevoren een pas voor vijf locaties te betalen. Dan weet je zeker hoe je de tijd in Ravenna kan plannen. Makkelijk en handig!

Mandatory booking for the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Neonian Baptistery, including the day and time of entry, is needed as these smaller monuments have limited visitor capacity.
