The buses were far more that 20-30 minutes apart. We waited close to 40 minutes on two occasions. The audio for the self guided was very poor. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience and likely would not recommend it.

The weather helped make this a wonderful and certainly worthwhile experience! We enjoyed a generalized but informative and interesting tour and were able to figure out where we wanted to spend more of our time in the city. I thought our guide Kandace was fantastic. She pointied out details on buildings, told stories about the cities history, and brought the fun to the ride. We did the 10am tour and circled the city before deciding what areas to explore. It was a great value and I would encourage anyone interested in learning about all the cool features Chicago has to take the ride. It did not dissapoint.
