Tips to make the most of your Hop-on Hop-off Barcelona tour

  • Start with a smart overview loop: Do at most one partial overview loop early, taking notes, then start hopping off by late morning to conserve your 24-hour pass.

  • Use your pass around sight clusters: With a 24-hour pass, focus on two clusters; with 48-hour tickets, consider dedicating a day for Montjuïc and the beaches.

  • Match operator routes: Check route maps to pick stops closest to your hotel or must-see sights.

  • Anchor combos: If booking tours or combos, plan around timed entries to avoid long queues.

  • Time food stops: Use key hubs like Plaça de Catalunya as gateways for market lunches.

  • Factor in hills: Allocate extra time for steep stops like Park Güell.

  • Lean into local rhythms: Ride in the morning and switch to shaded spots as the day heats up.

It was an amazing package! We did both the same day the park in the morning and Sagrada Familia at 6 PM. Seeing both masterpieces on the same day really elevates the experience and the appreciations for Gaudis work

We loved getting a layout of Barcelona. It helped us to strategize what we want to see and do. The Audio portion gives helpful insight into the culture and history.

Friendly staff, plenty of buses, stops were well spaced out, and almost all the highlights were along the route. From the top, you can take great photos along the way.

Everyting was great. The guide provided us with a quick access to the Sagrada Familia. We got inside from the Nativity facade which was great as this is the only part of the church which was finished during Gaudi lifetime and the craftsmanship and the details are amazing. The guide gave us good explanation about the inside of the cathedral and after that he left us to explore as long as we wish by ourselves.

It is obvious that without a guide you cannot learn as much about the Sagrada as with, in a short time. Everything was perfectly organized by Headout. We met our huide at a meeting point, received in the app and on mail from Headout. After a short presentation, the group follwed the guide and we entered the Sagrada skipping the line. The presentation was very documented and intelligible (we got bluetooth stations and earbuds). I'd recommend visiting Sagrada in the afternoon since the light inside is magnificent. Also keepin mind to buy the tickets at least 10-14 days ahead

A positive experience—quick and easy to buy, and very, very useful. Fast access—I skipped the lines at the ticket counter. In my opinion, a truly useful service.

The bus tour was an incredible experience—you literally get to see all of Barcelona. I recommend studying the map beforehand and getting off at the stops that interest you most. If you download the City Tour app, you can see where the bus is coming from so you don’t end up waiting in vain at the stop. I also recommend the 48-hour tour—there are so many beautiful places. We spent two hours just at the MNAC, and we only managed to see half of it, and then we continued with the tour. Excellent app, and I recommend getting tickets in advance—not for the tour, since there’s always availability, but the other sites sell out quickly.
