We had a very good guide who looked after our small group and took us around the synagogue's in the Jewish quarter and then on to Schindlers factory. Here things became a little crowded. The factory is actually not a factory as you expect but is a museum comprising of narrow corridors lined with photographs keading to small rooms where there are exhibits of German equipment and old artifacts. It's difficult to appreciate the museum properly because of the numbers of people around you shuffling for space. As with Auschwitz, its a macabre irony that the Hollocaust has left a legacy of highly successful tourist attractions. The whole experience is one of bewilderment that man could perpertrate such horror to his fellow man, but yet things never seem to change.

We took part in the guided tour and were thrilled. Our guide Annetta conveyed the history with a lot of knowledge and heart. On a normal tour, you wouldn't learn much of this moving background - thanks to her explanations, the places and houses were filled with life and history. It was a very impressive and informative tour that we can recommend without reservation!

thank you Silvia!!- she filled all the historical parts of our 5 h tour with her heart and personal histories, showed our small group all the places, where horrible things with jewish kids, women and men took place but also with stories and facts of people, who helped them in the middle of this terrible time with jobs, medicine or to get out of the ghetto!- it was really outstanding and touching!!

The tour of Schindlers Factory is amazing, very interactive and our tour guide Alicja was brilliant. She had so much info and is a fantastic storyteller, she really puts you in their shoes for the walk through from Krakow August 1939 right through to the end of the war and the liberation of the factory. It's absolutely chilling but oh my gosh, such an important part of history that NEEDS to be remembered. I would book with her again whenever possible! The tour of the Jewish ghetto was good, a bit less to see but still very interesting and Alicja was very knowledgeable on lots of topics. She also had photos etc to show that she provided herself and you could tell she loved her job and gave it her all. If you're thinking of booking a tour, definitely book with Headout and if you can request a particular guide, it would have to be her!

Our guide Annette was great. 5 1/2 hours of Kazimierz, Oskar Schindler's factory and the Krakow ghetto were entertaining, informative, exciting, interesting - and in addition to knowledge and history, she contributed a lot of stimulating information and was interested in the exchange. A great day in Krakow, which we ended with some interesting tips.

Wow! We met at the meeting point at the old synagogue and met our group. There was 8 of us so a lovely intimate group. Our guide was Helenja and she was truly amazing. Her knowledge and passion, and the fact that her family history is all part of what happened made the tour the most amazing day of our break in Krakow.
