Took my mom for her birthday and honestly, it was EPIC. Our guide Samira had soooo many stories, I felt like I was walking through history with a friend. We laughed a lot (mom made her snort with a random camel joke). It was crowded but Samira steered us around the big groups. Sun was beating down but they passed out cold water which saved us. Only tricky bit: the museum line moved at snail speed for a while, but honestly worth the wait. The driver even waited for us when we were like 20 min late. Def recommend, esp if you’re into quirky facts and random snack stops.

Did the tour as a solo traveller, and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Turned out to be really chill. Guide (Omar) had jokes and knew his pharaohs. Pyramids were BUSY but he managed to get us thru without much waiting. Lunch was a bit basic, but those falafels? 10/10. Only minus: wish we could’ve spent more time at the Sphinx, felt kinda rushed tbh. Still learned loads and left with sand in my shoes.

Came with my partner for our anniversary, and wow—never thought I’d be THAT person who tears up at ancient stuff but here we are. Our guide, Karim, was super patient (I ask too many questions). Cairo traffic is NUTS but our driver handled it like a pro. Also loved the tiny papyrus shop detour, even though I was skeptical at first. Got a little keychain for grandma. Long day but every minute felt special.

Our family of four (kids 11 and 13) loved every minute. Our guide, Fatma, was beyond amazing. She kept the kids engaged with riddles and stories about ancient curses. Museum was a bit overwhelming but she showed us the highlights. Pro tip: bring extra snacks for the little ones, the tour is LONG. Traffic back to hotel was wild, but we all napped in the van. Seriously the best day of our trip.

The pyramids are certainly one of the most important sights in the world. What made it even better as an experience was the tour with Ibrahim who not only knew in depth The history of Egypt and neighboring countries, but he also has a unique way of making the tour look like a movie trailer, giving you a feeling that You are part of that era. In two words, exciting experience
