Cozumel Clear Boat Tour with Snorkeling

Glide over Cozumel's reef on a 100% transparent boat ride with an underwater viewing deck and a snorkeling stop.

Getting started

Begin by heading to Plaza Villamar, Second Floor, where you visit the Clear Boat offices to confirm your reservation. Here, you receive a special wristband before making your way to the dock. Once you board the transparent boat and settle into your seat, the crew prepares for departure over the Caribbean Sea.

What to expect

ClearBoat Cozumel

This experience focuses on exploring the Caribbean Sea around Cozumel from a 100% transparent boat. The route lets you look directly down at sunken ships, coral reefs, and vibrant marine life as you travel, then pause for a snorkeling stop with tropical fish.

Features

• The transparent boat with underwater viewing lets you see the underwater world right beneath your feet, including coral reefs, sunken ships, and schools of vibrant marine life as the boat moves over the clear water.
• During the snorkeling stop with tropical fish, you enter the water from the boat and swim above the reef, watching fish and other marine life in their natural habitat while the vessel waits nearby.
• A mask and snorkel are provided so you can spend your time focused on observing the reef and fish rather than arranging your own gear for the snorkeling portion.
• A lifejacket is included for each guest, supporting you in the water during the snorkeling stop and while you are on deck near the railings.
• Bottled water is available on board so you can stay hydrated throughout your time on the transparent boat and during the break from snorkeling.

Wrapping up

After the snorkeling stop, you reboard the transparent boat and ride back over the reef and sunken ships to the dock, where the experience concludes near Plaza Villamar, and you are free to continue exploring Cozumel.
