Your Experience
Your Experience
Begin your enchanting journey with a comfortable minibus that will pick you up from Sapporo Station North Exit Group Bus Stop. From there, you'll venture into the winter wonderland of Hokkaido, experiencing a day filled with captivating sights and delightful activities. Your first stop is the renowned Asahiyama Zoo, Japan's northernmost zoo and a must-visit in winter. Unlike many other zoos, here the animals don't hide away during the cold season. Witness adorable penguins taking a stroll in the snow, and watch playful raccoons, curious seals, and cuddling monkeys. The unique feature of this zoo is that animals are kept in a relatively free state, allowing you to observe them up close through clever displays.
Next, immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Biei Blue Pond, a natural wonder formed by volcanic activity. The pond's water reflects a mesmerizing shade of blue in the sunlight, making it a captivating sight. Marvel at the serene turquoise waters and discover why it was featured in National Geographic. In Furano, you'll have the chance to play in the snowy landscapes and explore the enchanting Furano's Ningle Terrace. This unique forest workshop, created by the imagination of Japanese writer Satoshi Kuramoto, is home to small shops offering handmade treasures, including glass and paper crafts, as well as lavender-infused products. Your winter adventure in Hokkaido concludes with a return to Sapporo, leaving you with cherished memories of a day filled with diverse experiences in this enchanting winter wonderland.
